**CONFIRMED: Reece Robson Signs Four-Year Deal with Sydney Roosters**

The Sydney Roosters have secured a major coup, signing North Queensland Cowboys hooker Reece Robson on a four-year deal reportedly worth $3.6 million. The signing is a significant move for the Roosters as they aim to bolster their forward pack and strengthen their spine ahead of the 2025 NRL season.

Robson, 25, has emerged as one of the premier hookers in the competition, known for his relentless work ethic, sharp decision-making, and solid defensive game. He played a crucial role in the Cowboys’ resurgence in recent seasons and earned his first State of Origin jersey for New South Wales in 2023.

In a statement, Roosters head coach Trent Robinson expressed excitement about the signing, highlighting Robson’s skill set and leadership qualities. “Reece is a fantastic addition to our squad. His ability to control the ruck, read the game, and compete at the highest level will be invaluable to us. We’re thrilled to have him on board for the next chapter of his career,” Robinson said.

Robson’s move to the Roosters is expected to bring renewed competition for the hooking role, with veteran Jake Turpin and rising star Freddy Lussick already in the squad. His signing signals the Roosters’ intent to remain one of the NRL’s powerhouse clubs, particularly as they look to bounce back from a disappointing 2024 campaign.

The deal also marks a bittersweet moment for Cowboys fans, who have grown to admire Robson’s contributions on and off the field. North Queensland coach Todd Payten acknowledged the loss, stating, “We’re sad to see Reece go, but we’re proud of the player and person he’s become.”

Robson will join the Roosters in pre-season training later this year, ready to start a new chapter in his promising career.
