**The Script Stuns Fans by Donating Entire United Kingdom Arena Concert Earnings to Charity: “It’s Bigger Than Music!”**

*London, UK – April 5, 2025* — In a stunning act of generosity and compassion, Irish pop-rock band The Script has announced that 100% of the proceeds from their upcoming United Kingdom arena tour will be donated to various charitable organizations across the UK and Ireland. The announcement came during a live-streamed event Friday evening, leaving fans both emotional and inspired.

Frontman Danny O’Donoghue made the surprise statement just days after the band revealed plans for their 2025 world tour, which will support their upcoming studio album. Speaking from a rehearsal space in Manchester, O’Donoghue said the decision to donate their UK concert earnings was driven by a desire to “give back in a time when people need it most.”

“It’s bigger than music,” O’Donoghue said. “We’ve had an incredible career because of the love and support of our fans. Now, we want to turn that love into action — to help families, communities, and charities that are making a difference every day.”

The band’s UK arena leg, scheduled to run from October through December 2025, includes shows in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Dublin. All proceeds — from ticket sales, merchandise, and VIP packages — will be split among several charitable organizations, including mental health support groups, children’s hospitals, veteran services, and music education programs.

Drummer Glen Power added, “We’re in a place where we can do something meaningful. This isn’t about headlines — it’s about using our platform to create real change. Music has healed us, and we want it to help heal others too.”

Fans quickly flooded social media with messages of support, using hashtags like #TheScriptGivesBack and #BiggerThanMusic. Many praised the band’s humility and willingness to prioritize community impact over profit.

“I’ve been a fan of The Script for over a decade,” wrote one fan on Twitter. “But this… this makes me love them even more. They’re true legends — not just for their music, but for their hearts.”

The charitable move comes at a poignant time for the band, following the loss of founding guitarist Mark Sheehan in 2023. The band has made it clear that the spirit of generosity and remembrance will be central themes in their upcoming album and tour.

“This tour is for Mark, and it’s for everyone going through something,” O’Donoghue said. “If our songs can bring comfort — and the money from these shows can bring support — then we’ve done something worth more than any chart position.”

As excitement builds for the new album and tour, The Script’s decision to give back has only deepened their connection with fans — proving that sometimes, the greatest impact a band can have goes far beyond the music.
